Riverview Towers

I am currently living in a high-rise for seniors and disabled people called Riverview Towers in St. Albans. I've been here for 12 or 13 years. I wouldn't recommend this place, that's why I'm trying to get out of here. This is the present I am talking about, I liked it in the past. There are all kinds of trash in this building. It's 136 apartments and there are 17 of them that have bedbugs and roaches. The apartments are all 1-bedroom, and they pay for your water, sewer, and garbage bill. You would need to pay for the electricity and cable yourself if you want them. It was good when I first got here but now it's not. There's a family care health center across the street from us. We also have access, they're just a walking distance, to groceries, pharmacies, and a Dollar General. There are more places which you can walk from here so you don't have to have a car. We have been having problems with street people and the manager here is not very selective about who she lets in. You have to cook for yourself here. Every apartment has a kitchen and a dining room combination, a bathroom, and a bedroom. We have no security. You have to either buzz for somebody to let you in or have the key if you live here. Overall, I think they need better management and more security to improve.
