"My uncle will be moving into Dogwood Crossing Senior Living. I've only really met the administrator, and I liked her. She was very knowledgeable and caring. The staff would be there to make sure that he gets to his meals, gets his medication, and he'll be well taken care of. They would provide laundry services. They had a dining area and they had support animals that a person brings in every so often."

"I toured The Havens At Princeton. I thought that place was a lot better than the other facility. It was just bigger. It was a nicer place. It was just nicer looking. The staff was great. Everybody I've met at one of these homes have all been nice. Everybody looked happy there. The rooms were very nice. It was clean. There was no litter."

"We liked the cleanliness at Commonwealth Senior Living at Cedar Bluff and the lack of any odors that you would normally find at a rest home. They had a large enough room to accommodate any recliners and things that we might need. There were some natural lights coming into the room. It was just the overall appearance, and the personnel who gave me the tour seemed to be very informative. I liked it overall. They had mostly everything, like laundry and hair care. They had home health that would visit my brother at extra cost."

"My father was at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I was impressed. It was clean, home-like, the people there were gracious, helpful, and caring, and the treatment that my dad got from the kitchen staff to the doctors was excellent. There were arts and crafts, church services, and bands that came. They had a hair salon and someone that will come and take care of their personal needs. It's a very small community and a blessing for it to be here. The only issue with us was that he was in there with insurance, and private pay was quite steep. If his insurance had run out, we would have returned to private pay. "

"MY HUSBAND WAS ONLY WITH HERITAGE HALL FOR 3 WEEKS BEFORE PASSING. THE CARE OF THE STAFF, THEIR ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND THE WAY THEY TOOK MY FEELINGS INTO CONSIDERATION WAS WAY ABOVE AND BEYONE ANY EXPECTIONS I MIGHT HAVE HAD. IT WAS A TRAGIC TIME YET THEY MADE EVERYTHING EASIER. DURING THIS COVID TIME, IT CAN'T BE EASY BUT THE STAFF DOES EVERYTHING POSSIBLE, NOT JUST FOR THE RESIDENT BUT FOR THE FAMILY AS WELL. "My mother was at Westwood Center before she passed. It's a part of Genesis Care, and it's for rehabilitation and nursing. It's in Bluefield, and they were really good with her. They found that she had spleen and liver cancer that was super aggressive. They were really attentive to her there. Everything was really convenient. The rooms were easy to find, and they were nice and clean. They have a barbershop, a beauty salon, a sunroom, and a cafeteria. The food was catered for each person and whatever they required. The facility was very secure and nice."
