My move into Affinity at Mill Road was quite easy to do. They made it very simple. The staff members are very nice and very friendly. The rooms are clean and nice. They don't serve food here, and there is no cafeteria or restaurant here. We cook our own food. I have a 1-bedroom apartment, although I'm on a waiting list for a 2-bedroom. I've only been here for a couple of days, so I really don't know their amenities with the Covid. There is a pool, a game room, and a small bar, but I haven't availed myself of anything yet because of Covid. I rate them highly. The facility is very clean and very nice, but there haven't been any activities because of Covid. We're on lockdown. Value for money is pretty good; it's very reasonable in my opinion.

My uncle chose Affinity at Mill Road Spokane because it's in the right part of town that he wanted. He will be moving there. The place is very, very nice and has kind of a rustic atmosphere. The staff was very, very helpful and nice, and it was very affordable. They were just all very helpful and friendly. They are an active retirement community, so they just have a continental breakfast in the morning, but they don't provide meals.

The tour we had with Affinity at Mill Road was fine. The only staff we met was the administrator but she was informative. She took us for a walk to show us the room plus some of the activity rooms. The apartment was set up real nice and it had a view from the balcony. Other than that, it's just a one very long walk to the building, so there's a lot of walking for me, but the place looked very clean.

Affinity at Mill Road was fine. The marketing person, Shemayne, conducted the tour and she was very nice, very pleasant, and very accommodating. We walked around the entire complex and looked at the two or three apartments that were available. She showed me the one room on the end of the wing, closest to their little dog park, and just explained what the cost was worth and what the amenities were there. She sent me emails after that just following up with me on a couple of occasions. The dog park was just a little fenced in area. You can walk over there, and let your dog loose with other residents' dogs (if they have any). They have a well equipped little gymnasium too with treadmills, exercise bikes, and stuff like that. They have a dining room, so I think you can buy into the meal program or do your own cooking. Although the kitchen area in the apartments is small, I think it's equipped enough to fix your own meals if you want to. It is a nice place and relatively new, so everything seemed to be pretty modern.

I was quite impressed with Affinity at Mill Road. I thought the apartments were well laid out. They had extra stuff like having a garden space for those that want it. I was a little surprised that it didn't offer any meals, but I understand that it doesn't have any assisted living. I think my parents are going to need meals, but that's all as far as needing assisted living; they don't need care with their personal hygiene yet. Affinity at Mill Road is all independent living. They don't have assisted living. The staff was very professional and efficient. They're taking very good care of their residents and they're following all the protocols for maintaining safety against COVID. The facility is fairly new.
