"We chose McCamey Convalescent Center for my grandmother because it's only 20 miles from where we live and it came highly recommended to us. The transition was very good. They came over and picked her up. They were very helpful in helping us with the paperwork. They do have activities like there is a local band that comes in and play for them. They have church services on Sunday. With their staff, several of them have been there for years, so that tells me that the upper management treats them right. "

"I recently spent 3 days at this facility visiting my brother. He had just been transferred there from another facility where life was miserable for him. I live 5.5 hours drive away so it was important to stay a while. I found this home far above what I have seen in many homes like this. I was particularly impressed by the staff, the cleanliness, and the physical therapy that they made sure he got each day. I want to encourage these folks to keep up the good work.
