We chose McCamey Convalescent Center for my grandmother because it's only 20 miles from where we live and it came highly recommended to us. The transition was very good. They came over and picked her up. They were very helpful in helping us with the paperwork. They do have activities like there is a local band that comes in and play for them. They have church services on Sunday. With their staff, several of them have been there for years, so that tells me that the upper management treats them right.
