I'm currently living at Country Lane Seniors Community Temple. It's an independent living community, and the people who run it are wonderful. They're very supportive, and they do as much as they can for the residents here to offer things that are fun to do. We used to have a lady and her husband who came in and cooked us a meal. I think it was four days a week for lunch, but they're no longer here. The people in charge now offer breakfast for the residents, I think, every Friday, and I enjoy it. It's very comfortable and I feel very safe here, so it's very good. My apartment is perfect. You walk in, and there's immediately a bedroom off to the right, which is a smaller bedroom. To the left is a utility room where I have a washer and dryer. There are also shelves to put things that you can't find room for in the kitchen. You keep walking ahead, and there is a nice little kitchen area with a stove, a refrigerator, an oven, and a sink. Straight ahead from that is my living space, where I have my dining table and my TV. I have windows on the end that look out on an oak tree. I can also see the pool from my room, and I have a little patio. Off to the right of the living space is my bedroom. It's a large room and I have plenty of room for my bed and other pieces of furniture. It has one bathroom, which is good because it has a walk-in shower area, not a step-in tub. It's handicap accessible and it's just very nice. I enjoy it. When they serve food, it's very nice. I don't really go to everything, but sometimes they have things like cereals and a kind of a dry breakfast. I don't usually do that because I'm not into cereals anymore. When they offer something, and anytime we have a special guest who comes and performs, we have a nice ballroom, which is held for things like that, and they usually have snacks for the residents. They just do different things at different times, and it's usually pretty good. The facility as a whole is good. We have a mail room and a salon for anyone who wants to get their hair and nails done. We have a coffee shop, a smaller feeding area where we can have small things like birthday parties, and such. The dining room is very large and has enough room for plenty of people, maybe 200 plus, to eat when that's needed. Then we have the ballroom.
