Acorn Manor Assisted Living was very small and it seemed like a very caring environment. The staff during the tour was very knowledgeable about her facility, but she did not have any medical background. It's a home that has been renovated or remodeled to make it into assisted living. It had a breakfast area, a small dining area, and you can bring your pets with you. My family just didn't feel comfortable that they would be able to meet all our father's needs.
