I moved into Pegasus Villas Apartments a week ago. They have security gates, they have guards around, and it's close to the medical district. The staff and services are very wonderful. If you need anything done, they will come up right away. They have bingo and Spades. They have painting once a month. They do a raffle once a month. They do pool tournaments. The facility is clean. For a one-bedroom, it is cheaper than other places.

The thing I like about Pegasus Villas Apartments is that they're small apartments that look comfortable. They have a hook-up if you want to bring in a stackable washer-dryer. They're very friendly. They have community organizations, and a bunch of these people gather in their community rooms for breakfast and donuts in the morning. They have a great camaraderie between a lot of the tenants there. It seems like everybody gets along with everybody. They put a schedule up each month of what they're going to do on each day, so they have organized and planned activities and everything. If you want to mingle with people, it's great. And if you want to be by yourself, they're not going to bother you. The staff who gave the tour was very personable and very friendly. She explained everything. She told me what would be required before moving in. She laid everything out for me. There's no hidden cost. She was very tender about it. She just came to the point, and said, 'This is what you need to do if you're able to come in.' This lady told me exactly what I have to pay to get in, and that's something I appreciate. Everybody is self-sufficient here. They provide their own meals. They take care of themselves. You don't have somebody taking care of you, you're independent, and that's what matters to me. The apartment they showed me was immaculate. There's no patchwork on the walls. The bathrooms looked solid. Everything looked good. The building was built in 1969, so it's been well maintained.
