Bec's Blessing

My mother is at Bec's Blessing. It's a wonderful place. I love this place. There are only like 12 residents and they're so well taken care of. They have activities and they go offsite for field trips. It's a super place. They can also accommodate hospice to some degree. They don't provide nursing care there, but hospice can come to see people there, so it's awesome. The staff are super kind and caring. They have a core set of staff that is always there. They don't have a huge amount of turnover. The staff knows your name. When you come in, they greet you. They know everybody by name. A lot of the residents know them by name. The staff is awesome. Her room has a huge bathroom with a sink and a toilet and they have a separate place for showers, but the room is quiet and it faces a courtyard. Every room faces the outside, courtyard, or field, and it's a beautiful view. I love her room. It's all private. They have an activity area with a TV, a piano, and a karaoke machine. They have family-style dining and it has a huge table. They have a lady who makes all of their meals, family style, and they are good. They have a courtyard with plants and places to sit. They have a beauty salon and they can do your nails and have your hair cut. They also go off-campus. They went to the Senior Day at the Fair. They go to the VFW hall for events, and they take drives out in the country. They will shop for you. They'll pick your medication up for you at Wal-Mart. It's pretty awesome. This is the best place I've ever seen. They are sweet ladies. My mom likes to eat there. It's about the same price as if you had a shared room at a nursing home.
