Solea Cedar Park is a three-story building that's rectangular shape with a big courtyard in the middle. The people here have all been very helpful, polite, and kind. They have lots of activities like exercise classes, technology classes, and all kinds of games. They also have a library, a workout room, a theater ,a game room, and a community room.

My sister and her husband are in Solea Cedar Park. It's a very welcoming community. The staff was very informative with the tour. The area was very clean and very private. Most of the residents were very happy to be here. It was a great location for an active over 55 community. There are a lot of amenities around the area. There were restaurants, a close-by car wash, a shopping center, basically anything you need within 10 minutes. Meals are not included. It would be an excellent place for somebody in the Texas area looking for friends or elderly people that need a place where they feel more secure or active and don't need assisted living.

Solea Cedar Park was a fairly new facility. Everything had a new crisp look to it. It had a lot of the amenities, but it was a more independent living community without a lot of the other services. I think it was more suited for people who had their own transportation and were able to come and go as they please, without needing things to be close by. They had had some damage during the ice storm and were having to remodel a big part of their building. They couldn't show the primary activity center because it had received the most damage, but the woman there was very accommodating. We just kind of dropped in on her. She showed us around and talked to us at length about the facility. It was very nice. Their apartments also were very, very well done. It was very clean. I liked the outside gardens. It had places where if you were so inclined, you could have your own little garden space. They had outdoor places and things like that. It felt more like an apartment building, and I don't think it was as homey as the other place.
