Harmony Hill was a smaller facility. It's in my dad's hometown so he likes it. The kitchen facilities and everything looked good and clean. They had some local preachers going on up there. It's a very Christian atmosphere.

Harmony Hill offered the most assistance and seemed to have the most activities planned on a daily basis. It had a family environment. The lady was extremely helpful and very friendly. She knew all the residents by name. There were three meals a day, and they could request a snack anytime. Everything was extremely clean and well cared for. We were impressed. I was very happy with the tour. The ratio of the residents to staff seemed good. I had no complaints.

Five star rating on all counts. Staff is excellent, qualified, and communicative. The facility is always well kept and the environment is positive and pleasant. There is a strong sense of friendship and community among the residents, with plenty of opportunity for entertainment and socialization.

I have had the opportunity to be involved in senior care facilities and visited numerous properties- at one point I was President of a Senior Ministries Board of Directors whose mission was the advancement of Senior Communities. Harmony Hill is truly unique. It is special for so many reasons. Most significantly, under the direction of Janet Bybee, the staff is professional and responsive to resident needs. Without exception, associates are compassionate and supportive. The move to assisted living is a juncture in life which many of us will face. Regardless of the pleasant atmosphere and safety afforded otherwise vulnerable seniors- there is a significant transition to undergo. Living independently in a home one has occupied and maintained gives way for community living. Most certainly there are extraordinary benefits with Harmony Hill living. However, without the commitment to quality senior living demonstrated day in and day out be each of the associates it would perhaps lack the feeling of home. Residents feel loved and cared for- their concerns and anxieties are eased by an interested listner- someone willing to share a moment of prayer and overall contiued reassurance. Harmony Hill is a beautiful property on a lovely setting - where the most wonderful family of dedicated professionals protect, respect and nuture a happy senior community.
