Mullins Nursing Center had an excellent reputation, but they had no availability. My mother's sister was in there. The facility was very nice. I had to wait for a good while to see the proper person and that person actually ended up sending us back telling us that they couldn't see me that day because they had no availability. So I did not care for that.

I stayed two weeks at the Mullins Nursing Center and I couldn't wait to go home. It was too confining; I couldn't get in and out because I had surgery and I was doing rehab. They don't have enough staff to take care of sick people. If you've got five or six patients and they are six, you are not able to take care of those patients like you should. That's the way it was over there, in the hospitals, and everywhere else. It's not really that I didn't like the place, I just didn't like being in there. I am not ready to go in a nursing home and I hope I never do.
