"I interviewed this nursing home a couple months ago when I was looking for possibly places to place my other. She is getting older and it's becoming harder to take care of her 24/7. It seemed like a good place from what I saw and heard. The patients in their seemed happy and it seemed clean in their. I believe that this would be a great for her and it is affordable which is always a good plus! This is one of my top choices. We are looking to place her their in a few months but we want to make sure that sh elikes it first, The staff seems caring and I hope that they truly are. The meals looked and smeel good and they have they're own private room. Which is great for me because she loves her privacy. They are well decorated and are not too small for her to live in. We will try they out for a few months and than see how everything goes! "

"My friend moved into John Edward Harter Nursing Center. They have 26 beds. It's a nursing facility that is connected with the Allendale County Hospital. They have 24-hour care. They have RNs on each shift and physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy available if it's needed. She has a single room that has a bathroom attached to it, but she does not have any cooking facilities in that room. They provide the meals for her. They have activities staff. They also have medical personnel involved with it. But they have an activities director and have activities every day."

"This day program is wonderful. Mr Eddy cares for each and every client in the program. The staff is very caring and compassionate to the clients. "

"It was very nice and serene here. The staff and the place speaks for itself when you get inside. They havent had any bad reports since 2010 which werent anything major and that also shows they have improved. I placed a client here and she's been there for about 3 weeks now. She loves it. "

"My mother is in Syl-View Rehabilitation & Memory Care Center for a month now. We had not been able to see her because of the COVID rise again. We just have to kind of visit her through the window or just call over the phone. It's kind of awkward because she's used to being with us every day and seeing us every day. It's difficult for her at this time to cope with it. The staff is good. They're excellent. I can't speak for all of the staff down there, but the ones that I met there (they're the ones that are dealing with my mother). They are good staff. I feel like our needs are being met. The facility is nice, but it can be upgraded. I know they have a church."
