My mother will be moving into Chapel Ridge. We chose this facility because it is close to my mother's current home, and therefore she knows people throughout the community, and they can come visit her easily. Her friends are in the neighborhood, but she also knows a couple people that are already in Chapel Ridge. That was the primary reason that we were kind of focused on this facility. We haven't actually experienced it, but it appears that the services, from talking to other residents and things, are excellent. They increase the level of care according to the needs of the client. The facility itself is quite nice. They had a nice dining room and sitting areas. We were accommodated well with an apartment that was appropriate for my mom on the first floor. They do everything they can to accommodate the residents and their family and make them comfortable. The setting is nice. We haven't been able to explore the outdoors so much because of the weather, but there's a walking path and a nice courtyard where residents can go and sit and enjoy the outdoors. The apartment is adequate, not extremely spacious, but it's got a lot of light coming through the windows, and it's very clean. They do housekeeping, and it will be in very good condition when we move in. The facility looked comfortable and definitely well kept from what we've seen.
