Holzer Assisted Living-Jackson's staff was very friendly. When I went, they were having dinner and family stuff, and it seemed like they were very involved. The rooms were like studio apartments.

Holzer Assisted Living-Jackson's staff was very friendly. When I went, they were having dinner and family stuff, and it seemed like they were very involved. The rooms were like studio apartments.

I had been in a nursing home before, but never an assisted living facility. To my surprise they were much different than a nursing home. The staff was very friendly and the residents were able to do whatever they pleased. The facility was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. They offer activities for the residents so that they do not become bored in the evening. It was like she was out on her own, living in her own home but had some extra support when she needed it. She was able to have a private room with her own tv, just like she was living at her own home. The staff welcomed us while we were there for a short visit. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is searching for a great assisted living program.
