My friend is in Bellevue Care Center. They help with everything, his medication, and they change his clothes for him. He's on a feeding tube. They do everything for him. Some of the nurses are pretty good. They're nice. We ran into a couple of them that aren't so social. His room is pretty clean and it's taken care of. It's the nurses that messed up his medication and that's why he is in the state he is in now. They gave him too much of his psych meds and then they turned him into what he is today and we were kind of just really pissed off. They need to double-check the medication before they give it to a person so they don't overmedicate them like they did him because he's in a vegetative state now, where he can only move his eyes and that's just wrong. They need to check on the patients more often because we were there for two hours one day and they did only come in and check on him maybe twice. I went out and asked the nurse, in the condition he was in, how often somebody came in and checked on him because he couldn't contact the nurse or anything. She said, "People go in and out, check on him and everything," so that don't tell me nothing. I wanted to know how often.

My cousin has received excellent care even though she can be difficult at times. Rooms are comfortable and adjusted to her liking. Staff is available for questions. Sharon loves Bingo!

I had a good stay at Bellevue Care Center. The caregivers were attentive. The physical and occupational therapy were every day. The people were very good, very nice and had good humor but took their work seriously. I had a single bed, and the room was nice. They came and cleaned every day and even got me an air mattress for my bed.
