I have had 3 family member reside at this facility over the years. I have personally witnessed the love and tender affection each and every staff member had towards the residents. The facility called my family with every medication change every status change and even to yell us that my family member was having a good day and to let us know that they were doing well. The facility is clean, smells wonderful and looks like a home. The administration team is wonderful and I cannot say enough about them. I adore the staff and the caring atmosphere while we visit. It is so wonderful to rest every night and know that my family member is getting the care and attention they receive while I am there as well as when I am not. I trust this facility with the care of my loved ones and I would not recommend any other facility in the area, as I have visited and toured these facilities prior to placing my family member at Oak Pointe. If you want your family member to be loved and cared for as a family member I recommend this facility. There are not enough stars to show my appreciation.

Fluffette

Went thete today for a tour for a 2 week respite for my father. Admissions person seemed very shy...did a very quick once through...staff were very lackadasical...almost every client was in bed...and the facility had a very specific pong to it. Rather depressing atmosphere. NO. Enough said

Favorite grandson

The facility was very clean like a hospital. All of the staff members were really friendly to my family as we were touring the facility. We got to sit through a meal while we were there. The staff seemed to really care for the patients and treated them as adults even while they were feeding them. The administrator that gave us the tour told my family that they have at least one nurse on duty at all time and a doctor on call if the need for medical attention should arise. The outside grounds were wonderfully maintained and they have a beautiful courtyard with flowers that my grandfather could enjoy during the warmer months in Ohio. My family was shown two different options available for my grandfather. He could either have an individual private room or a shared room with another patient depending on what we preferred. The only down side to the entire place is the price was higher by a good bit than the other facility in the area we checked into, but the level of care and treatment at Oak Pointe as also higher.
