When you walk in at Roanoke Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center it smelled of urine. There were a lot of patients sitting in wheelchairs in the hallways, and they just looked lost. I didn't get the feeling that mother would be any more than a number down the hallway. It was very expensive. The staff was fine and answered all of our questions. The appearance, smell, and price, turned us off. The administrative staff was fine. The people didn't seem to be cared for as much. It's located right beside the hospital.
