"Both my parents are passed now but Cedarwood made their last time together (74 years) wonderful. The staff treated them like family, checking on them, bringing them treats, taking them to social events and giving hugs. Facility is clean and bright. They are a double door away from the skilled nursing and another double door to the hospital so when Dad had to rehab there they would wheel mom there to visit him everyday. It took a load off of me knowing they were well taken care of. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Cost was a great value!"

"My uncle is in Gardenside Ltc-jchc. He's in a really good place, he likes it. Nurses are good. They keep me very informed. They call me weekly. He likes the food. I don't get to see the rooms because of COVID. We only can meet in certain places, but it was nice. He tells me, they do activities all the time, so he likes it. They play games, right now he's doing physical therapy, he doesn't do activities too much. It's affordable for him and he gets good care."

"The Kensington's downtown location is a definite plus, however lack of adequate parking around the facility is a concern. In fact, the Kensington's own shuttle van must park on the sidewalk in order to pick up and drop off residents. Inside, the decorum is warm and homey, with old wood furniture and rich carpets throughout. Overall, the feeling is quite elegant and not as "industrial" as some other places I visited. Meals and served at family style tables and residents may order off a menu, which changes regularly. The staff was very friendly and attentive to both me and my mother. They did a wonderful job of showing us around the facility, and also privately discussing costs and payment options. Typical assisted living services such as medication disbursement, laundry and cleaning services are provided. Overall, I was quite impressed with the Kensington and think it would make an excellent next home for my mother. "

"Good Samaritan Society - Samaritan Springs is a very nice facility. I was only in there once when we moved my brother in. He seems very happy there. The food seems good. The COVID has made it tough. He had to quarantine for two weeks and he can't leave except to go to the doctor, so we don't get to see him. It will be pretty nice when they are able to open back up. He has a one-bedroom with a nice, large bathroom, a living area with a little kitchenette at the one end. He's got his computer, TV, recliner, chair, and a little kitchen table. There are different types of rooms. There's a bigger one-bedroom apartment and a two-bedroom apartment. He has plenty of room for what he needs, a nice view out to the garden, he has access to the exercise equipment now, and he's pretty happy about that. The staff is very nice and very informed. The nurse has been great about making sure I remember his appointments and what time. She's on top of things. I've met the lady in-charge, and she's very caring. They seem to know their stuff really well, and they're taking good care of him. They have a beautiful garden and a courtyard out the back. When things open, there's a dining room that you can have your family there to eat, but COVID got everything locked up. It's very clean and well kept. It's fairly new, just a few years old. They did some things for the Halloween."

"Courtyard Terrace is excellent. I have an aunt who is living there and I know what kind of care they're getting, their activities, and the transportation. It is all excellent. Their food is very good. The staff is excellent. "

"They have my loved ones best interest . They have staff that cares and really knows my family . Not only my loved ones that live there But my whole family. It like home. The ED and DON have a open door policy . Good or bad they listen and fix the problem or celebrate the positive. They have great function for all to attend. We couldn't be happier with the services.
