My husband was at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center for 6 weeks, and they only gave him 2 sponge baths. He ended up with a bed sore while he was there. They stopped doing physical therapy on him. Most of the time, they wouldn't even get him out of bed. They didn't shave him or shampoo his hair, and he just was not being well taken care of at all. I just couldn't believe the bad care he was getting there. It was awful. He was not feeling well. They were ignoring his buzzer. It was very expensive. They had a good physical therapist there, but he left. He was one of the people that gave my husband a sponge bath even though he was not responsible for that. One thing that aggravated me about this place was that he had sores on both of his heels that he had gotten when he was still home. They did not change the dressings every day. They changed them every two or three days and put the same dirty socks over the clean dressing. One time he had to use the urinal, and the urinal was put on his bed tray. He wanted the nurse aide to empty the urinal, but she did not. She pulled him up in bed but left the urinal on the bed tray. And then someone came into the room and put a sandwich on the same bed tray with the urinal.
