"My dad has moved into Meadow Ridge Senior Living. The staff is great. It's clean. As his daughter, I can call them any time and discuss any concerns. They are very friendly and very helpful. With regard to food, I've seen what they've served, and it looks okay. I know sometimes my dad is not happy with it, but he had a wife who was a great cook, so it's hard to move beyond that. For activities, they have bingo three times a week, chair exercises, and depending on the weather, they do resident walks in the evening. They also have a trip to Walmart. One thing I like is that if Dad needs to travel to someplace within Moberly, it's part of their policy to take him where he wants to go. Residents have a refrigerator in the units, but if you want a microwave, you have to supply that yourself."

"Our mother has lived at the Clarence Care Center for almost a year. She has received great care, kind thoughtfulness, and good food. We love her caregivers. The facility continues to improve and has a beautiful TV and visiting room, beautiful floors, and is very clean. We would love to see the activity calendar posted monthly."

"I entered the facility and did not smell anything other than cleanliness. The facility appeared to be well organized and efficient. As the tour began the orderlies or Nurses Aids appeared to be busy working and taking care of the patients. The layout of the facility was a star shape that centered around the nurses station; there were four different halls that lead from the nurses station. Three of the halls were patient rooms and the fourth hall lead to the dinning room and front entrance. The halls were clear of clutter and the laundry and housekeeping room were behind locked doors for safety. The staff were friendly and cooperative with the patient needs as well as the visitors. The meals seemed to be well-balanced and filling; also the meals were designed for all types of diets including diabetic and low-calorie. Overall the facility appeared to be a friendly, homey place that any patient would enjoy staying at whether long-term or short-term. "

"The staff at Loch Haven are very caring and treat the residents as people - not just a responsiblity. They take the time to visit and listen to each person - not just rush in to do their jobs and leave. This way they know the families, friends and what is going on in the lives of each resident. This makes this living experience more like a home and that is important to the resident as well as us the family members. The facility is clean and the meals are good. Thank you to all those who help make each day pleasant for my mom. "

"Staff is typically friendly, elderly are nice, the place feels more like a hotel home then a nursing home. The entrance to it is a little bit 'creaky'. The floors squeek when you walk down them, but they are nicely kept. The assisted living is like walking into a house with a small living room at the entrance and then a foyer area at the end of the hallway. This is where the residents watch TV outside their rooms. The assisted living added on more rooms and added a small fountain area for outdoors. There is a walking trail for outgoing residents. This is a 24 hour nursing home with shifts from 7am to 3pm and 11pm to 7am. This area is frequently visited by neighborhood pets, like cats and small dogs. Each side of the assisted living place has a balcony. Most residents use walkers or canes to get by in this assisted living area. "

"Great assisted living facility. The nurses really care for their patients and the family members that come to visit are always talking about the great service and care. I was impressed when I visited due to the fact that we were offered refreshments and various options for entertainment. It made us feel as if we were visiting our friend in their own home. Overall, the refreshments were simple but it was such a kind gesture. Our friend has lived in the facility for about three years. She enjoys her time her and often raves about the kind nurses. She knows all of them by name and even recalls stories of their personal lives. I believe the nurses here at Loma genuinely love their patients. The only negative factor I can recall is the amount of patients living in the facility. The common areas seem a bit cramped during prime visiting hours. "
