My experience with Ravenwood Assisted Living has been good on some levels and bad on others. My grandmother is a tenant of the home, and she has her own private room, in which she can have her own antique furniture, pictures of family, along with a television and refrigerator for her comfort. The room itself, along with the dining accommodations, are top-notch. I haven't had any experience with the area of the facility that deals with tenants who need extensive care, so I cannot speak to the accommodations there. There have been instances where it does not seem like the staff have visited or ensured that my grandmother has bathed or changed clothing, so this would be the only detractor to the facility over the way that it looks.

With no more than 15 rooms, the Arbors co-exists with a sister assisted living facility, yet remains separate. Care is provided in a building specifically designed with the care of the Alzheimer's resident in mind. We consider each resident's own strengths and weaknesses to weave a seamless cloth of individualized care. We also incorporate the latest approaches to this challenging disease into the daily routines and activities of all our residents. It's difficult to even search for proper care while tending to someone with Alzheimer's. Each day presents new challenges to patients and their caregivers.
