Rooms need many repairs and food wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend this place. These are true facts as I was there for several months. Noise was horrible.

My dad was at Sardis Community Nursing Home for a couple of weeks or so. What we liked about it was the convenience of where it was. I live within ten miles from it, while my brother lives within six, and then I have a sister that lives probably within twelve miles from it. So we liked it because it was convenient for us to be able to stop by and see him. The living atmosphere was fine. They did rehab with him just a few hours in the morning and then after that, he was sitting in the wheelchair for the rest of the day. Some of the staff was just good, but some were just there for the check and the check only. He was there for rehab because he fell and broke his hip. Just within a week of staying there, he had a big slice on his hand. They said that he fell in the shower, which I didn't believe, and then one day he slipped out of his wheelchair. We wound up back in the hospital having to check on the parts of his hip that were previously broken. For me, I would not recommend anybody to take their family members there.
