"Claiborne was just what my family was looking for when it came to taking care of my aunt. She was well taken care of from the moment we entered into the building. It's normally not what you see but they exceeded our expectations. We were able to meet the Directors which most had been with Claiborne for a while and that meant a lot to us as well. The Administrator was very helpful and knowledgeable about the community and created a safe place for my aunt by holding her hand and walking with us on the tour. Made our family feel that our aunt would be alright. There is no place like this community, and we also enjoyed lunch and Dining Manager had a beautiful smile and lovely personality. This is all around great place."

"I have chosen Camellia Estates for my husband. They provide extensive care, and I'm very happy with it. His room is not only functional but beautiful. The staff is very caring and above-and-beyond helpful. They provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and mental clarity. He went into skilled nursing, but he's in assisted living now. They have activities and dining, but we have only been there awhile."

"I'm in McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I've been here for four years now. This one is about the best one in the area. It's got a therapy department that makes a lot of that stuff convenient. Other than the turnover of the employees, you get decent average care. They've got room for improvement. Some of the staff are knocking on the head and some are good. The food recently has dropped off in quality and size. Our portions have gotten a lot smaller in the past couple of months. They've got an activity department where they do a lot of the normal things like bingo, monthly birthday parties, and Memorial Day and Veterans Day activities and stuff. However, I just got the money, and they charged me private pay, and it's $8000 a month for me to stay here. They got a little pavilion out back that smokers get to use. They go out there. They've got schedules for smoke breaks."

"Driving into the location, the outside looks very peaceful and serene. It had an old southern plantation feeling. The grounds were beautiful. We were a little confused by the building placements. The staff was very polite and helpful. They bought chairs into the room so that we could all be comfortable and visit. My only negative to the home was that the room my father-in-law was in had two other gentleman. It was a bit cramped and space was very limited in the facility. The building appeared to be older that ten to twenty years at least. While their a few nurses and other patients stopped by to meet us. I got a feeling that my father in law had been bragging again. The staff and residents were very polite and friendly. They seemed to take very good car of my father in law and he seemed pleased as well. "

"My brother is a Vietnam Veteran. He was able to get admittance to Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jackson LA after his brother and caregiver for 10 years passed away. It was a hard transition, but a very successful one. The staff at LWVH has been so understanding and helpful and know how to deal with Veteran's PTSD. They take the residents out shopping, and out to lunch and provide wonderful care. I sing their praises! "
