Edgewood in Sartell

My sister is at Edgewood Sartell. We like the facility and the amenities it provides. There's a big viewing screen area like a theater. There's a pub, a chapel, a game room, and a large cafeteria. There's a lot. They offer three meals a day, too. The staff is very nice. I tried the food, and it was excellent. They have a calendar showing them all the activities, and there's about one or two activities a day.

My mother is at Edgewood Sartell memory care. They have assisted living as well. I like that they literally check on my mother every 30 minutes around the clock, and they come and get her for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was very impressed with how clean the place was. They have support classes, and I went to one when I was there. They gave us all a journey book about Alzheimer's. I'm impressed with the care that they're giving her. She plays bingo, and I like that they don't make her do things she doesn't want to do. They had a gentleman come in and play music. They have arts and crafts, and they take them all outside for storytelling time. They have a calendar of what they do every day. Those who are capable can go out and help plant the garden. I was very pleased with the food. It's a beautiful facility. They have little memory rooms from back in the day, which is really cool. They also make sure she showers.
