Kingsway Retirement Living was excellent. We were very impressed with the program that they had for memory care patients, and we felt very good about the surroundings. The people we met were very helpful and friendly. They gave us a couple of different tours. In fact, that's the one we've chosen to go to. They gave some good options for dining especially with the memory care because we can eat with our families right there and that works out well.

I was at Kingsway. It was more expensive than other places, but the building was very nice-looking and easy to get around in. They do have a bus service, but the activity is mostly what the residents make up. The food was good too. It is a small town, so everything is close by and everybody knows one another. The people that work there and the people that live there are very nice. However, I was not impressed with the management. One time, I got very sick for a few days. The priest came in with a dog and the dog went right through the place where the leak was. I had told them a couple of times that I felt like I was living in a gas station. The priest took me to the doctor, but the management never really followed up on it. Even when I fell in the front lobby, and broke my little finger (because the rug was wrinkled up), he removed the rug, but he didn't care what happened to me. I didn't think the management was that great.
