Bethany on the Lake

The rooms at Bethany on the Lake are fairly large, and they've been remodeled. There's new flooring, and everybody has a private bathroom. Mom's room has a nice view. They go out on outings. They have a social hour. The food is good. When you walk in, it's a very calming vibe, and it smells good. They have activities for the residents where they can choose to opt in or not. The weekday staff is good. The weekend staff is not as good. You can choose to go down to the dining area to eat, or you can have your meals brought to your room. Maintenance is on par. Mom has an issue with her chair, and they fixed it. I only get there a couple of times a year, but they are always remodeling and updating the building. If you don't like what they're serving, you can have a chef salad, a chicken sandwich, a tuna sandwich, or something.

I visited a friend at Bethany on the Lake in Alexandria. It was really nice and clean. I like the rooms. The staff was really nice, and the rooms were clean and spacious. They had an elevator. I saw both the assisted living and the nursing home. They have gatherings every month, they can play cards or play on the computer, and they can have dogs or cats. It's on the lake itself, and it's beautiful.
