My dad moved into CrownPointe of Stevensville a few months ago. We chose this one for basically the convenience, the price, the cleanliness of the area and the staff. We were familiar with the place. It's right next door to where we live, so they let us come in. The staff members are wonderful. They're also very helpful. The rooms are very spacious, very accessible for wheelchair although my dad is not in a wheelchair, he uses a walker. The doors are nice and wide. Obviously, they have people to come around and clean, and they do a fine job. He likes the food. He said it's very good. He is gaining weight. There is transportation there, but generally we take care of that problem. I think it's the best value for the money. They had some problems in the beginning but they got that all straightened out. I think it's reasonable compared to everybody else.

I recenly visited this facility and found it to be clean with residents and staff that were so kind and caring, like one big happy family. I was happy to know that they allow small pets. The facility had a beautiful fish tank and several birds for all to enjoy. I can't wait for when my father is ready to make the move. This will be the perfect home for him.

I didn't care for CrownPointe of Stevensville. They had mixed in everybody next to each other. Some had advanced Alzheimer's and some were perfectly fine, just aging. They had birds that would fly outside of cages with the feathers and poop going everywhere. It was after lunch and they still had uncleared tables, and it was very unorganized. I didn't like the rooms and apartments. They didn't have any room to put a table for two. They just had a piece of formica nailed to the wall in their apartments and that's where you ate, facing a wall. They should have a different floor for the people with advanced Alzheimer's, not being right next to the people that are just getting old because it can be pretty scary. While I was there, a guy came right in the room with his mouth bleeding, and he was crying.

CrownPointe seemed to be the one that met my needs the most for my sister-in-law and that was the only one I found that was within the price range that she can afford. The facility looked clean. I was very impressed with it. The staff that I met I thought were very nice. My sister-in-law is a vegetarian and I asked about that and they said that would not be a problem. It also looked like that they have quite a few activities there.
