My mother, Lynne L., was a resident for 4 1/2 years at the Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility. She loved everything about her home there! And as one of her daughters who visited frequently, I am so grateful to the facility and staff members! Each and every nurse and staff member treated my mother with love and respect during her entire stay, and she loved them! I will be eternally grateful to the Schoolcraft Medical Care Facilty Team! I was satisfied overall with the facility. Although it wasnt the most up to date it was fully functional. The staff members were attentive and friendly to both me and the residents. The food was better than what I had expected from to find and my grandmother was satisfied as well. The residents schedules allowed them to have social time and the ability to go to the different events the facility was holding. I didn't like that two residents were put into one room and wished my grandma had her own room for privacy reasons. Events such as bingo and card nights are held to keep residents occupied and moving about which I liked as well.
