"My mom is resident of Drews Place at Village Green. It's nice, it's clean, and the people are friendly. The food is good, too. I think they charge way too much, but I'll give it a 4 for the amenities. They have bingo, ice cream socials, crafts, and other activities. There's a big front patio area that goes across the whole place and they have an exercise room. They do haircutting and nails, as well. She is in a 1-bedroom apartment and she's comfortable. I haven't had a meal there, but she said she loves it. My mom loves the place."

"Drews Place of Hillsdale was very good. They gave me a tour of the place. They took me in the office, went over some paperwork, and explained to me what they offered there. It was nice if that's what you're looking for. It was beyond what my father-in-law needed at the time. The staff member who showed me around was very helpful. The place was very clean. They took care of it and did very well on the outside and the inside. The place was very homey. Each resident had their own room and it was decorated."

"My mom was in Hillsdale Hospital McGuire and MacRitchie before she passed, and I have no complaints whatsoever. They were wonderful, they were updating, they kept me informed, they made her feel comfortablea. They were just great. I didn't experience any negativity, even with the hospital being shut down, they were very great about letting me in, and they didn't give me a hassle. I can't complain, they were wonderful."

"It's a wonderful place! The staff is fine. It's just my mother-in-law. Well, she's 93, so you know how that goes. She didn't like it there and she didn't like where she's at now. She's not going to like it anywhere, so it has nothing to do with any of the homes. They took wonderful care of her there. They're very caring people. They were perfect! If I had to be somewhere myself, that's where I want to go. Country Living was a perfect place! I would not ever say anything bad about them. "

"Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center is very attractive. It's well kept up, and the staff is very responsive. The activities are a little light; however, they do have a library and exercises. I know my friend is using both of those. Their food is just food, but it's warm. And the dining room is well kept up, and the service is very good. The place is clean. The staff is overall better at Spring Arbor. My friend has had more contact with the nursing staff and medical staff since she's been there."

"My in-laws are staying in Deer Run Independent Villas in Spring Arbor. It's one of the 10 or 11 independent living condos behind their assisted living units. I like that there's no transfer of services. At this other facility I checked, they said if something happened to one of my parents, the other one would go to the assisted living part and pay a fee. It's not like that here. They just basically rented an independent living condo. They have been very helpful in getting my parents settled and answering our questions. The cleanliness and the structure of the building are very good. The size of the room is very large and the place has a friendly atmosphere."

"I'm living in Arbor Oaks Living Center. I've been here for two years now. I came in a wheelchair, and I'm using a walker now, so I'm taking care of myself. I clean my own apartment. I take my own medicine. I go for my own walks and stuff. The staff is good, the food is decent. They have Wii bowling. Whoever wants to go, they'll put them on a bus and take them for a ride. They do provide weekly errand runs, which means that if you have had to go shopping for anything, they'll go out once a week. You bring your own furniture and everything."

"My mom moved into Grand Vista Assisted Living. It just looked like it would be a good fit for my mom. My mom's apartment is big. She has her own bathroom, which is very large. It's handicap-accessible. She has her own shower, a toilet area, a bedroom, a sink, a microwave, and a large refrigerator. It's like a little apartment. They play bingo. They do activities outside. They plant things. Everybody comes out and eats every meal together. They have a large common area where people are out there all the time. They have dogs. If they wanted to color or do puzzles, that was available for them as well. My mom said the food was good."

"Had both my father and my stepmother there in 2010 and 2011, They were very interested in what is happening with their patients, and how their patients feel. Open door policy with non restrictive housing. Dining room, kitchen, laundry, storage are kept really clean, and smells clean too. Love this place. They took our concerns into matter and made my parents last days happy.They even attended the memorial services showing how much they cared. "

"My father has moved into Drews Place Of Coldwater 1. The caring nurses are what I like the best. I have no complaints with them. They are very helpful. They help the residents any chance they get. The structure of the building is very nice. I have seen the residents play cards and do craft projects. The room is very spacious, very roomy, and clean. It feels like home. They always greet me and they know me, so it's great."

"My brother was a resident at Country Living AFC for several months. They have a place outside where they can walk around. It's out in the country. Smokers can smoke. They serve three meals a day. They do the laundry. They have rooms. It's two people in a room. My brother could go outside and walk around. I didn't see a whole lot of activities. They have a television set. They have three meals a day. They do the laundry. It's a country setting, so it's peaceful there. It's very inexpensive."
