I found this nursing home as false advertisement. The staff was rude disrespectful and didn't want to listen to my concerns about my grandma. She spent a total of 30 days in there. On day 18 she had her first shower. I was trying to explain to the staff that this was and is uncalled for uncleanliness and poor hygiene. All the staff said was well today is Monday so it's shower day. I was like are you serious. I complained all the time about her shower and its like they did not care. This is neglect for the residents. I wonder how they treat the residents who can't speak for themselves. My Grandma was vocal about wanting a bath and the staff kept putting it off until I got involved. Then I noticed that the staff started to treat my grandma worse since I complained and was calling and checking in on my grandma. My family and I will never use medilodge of hillman for any relative or pet. Staff tells you one thing to your face but doesn't do what they promise. Very rude staff, always smelled a bad oder probably cause of not giving residents showers on a weekly basis.
