I moved to Chauvin Pointe's independent living community because it was very close to my daughter. I'm in a 2-bedroom apartment with one bath. I prepare most of my food, but you can buy lunch here every day for $2. They have a lot of activities here. They also have an athletic center. I do participate at times, but I'm a hundred percent disabled veteran, so there aren't too many activities I can really go to and enjoy. They do offer a number of them, like Bible studies and Bingo. They also bring in speakers and entertainment. It's a very nice place to live. The staff is excellent, and the cleanliness is exceptional.
