My mother is in Heritage Nursing Center. It's closer to where my parents lived. She is in hospice there. The staff and everybody is fine. When you walk in, I feel like it needs a little more cleaning, but that's probably just me. The people working are friendly, and they keep you posted. They'll call you if anything happens. The few days that she's there, they've already called. It doesn't matter if it's the middle of the night, they'll call you and let you know what's going on. I'm not paying anything because this was through her long-term insurance stuff. It's a small place. Most of the people are bed bound, so you don't see people walking around or anything. Everybody is long-term care like they have some type of terminal disease. It's basically like a hospital. You walk in and everybody is in the room.
