I remember visiting my great grandmother in this nursing home when I was a kid.My great grandmother was in a wheel chair and could not get around on her own. Now they would call her condition dementia, but back they my mother called it getting old. I remember the facility being so pretty and bright. My great grandmother had a roommate and she was a sweet lady. We were only able to visit her once a month, but each time we did the staff were very kind and pleasant to us. They would always invite us to have lunch with her in the solarium. My great grandmother seemed happy with her life; even though she knew it wasn't going to be a long one. I know the nursing staff took care of her well, because she use to tell us how much she hated getting a daily bath. My mother said she was from the age group that thought taking a bath three or four times a week is good enough.
