"I am in United Living Center right now. What bothers me is that the rates have taken away benefits. However, the staff is pretty good. I am now in a room that had a view of a brick wall, but I am getting one that the view will be out over a park. If you want to, they have some meals, and most of them are pretty good. They are one of the few institutions that know how to cook liver and onions. They have the university singer come, and we go down for coffee every afternoon. I will say my experience with them, basically, is pretty good. Other than, I do not like the things they take away, but under the circumstances, I guess they do not have any choice. "

"Peaceful Pines Senior Living at Madison is very nice and very clean. The gentleman who showed me the place was very nice, very courteous, knowledgeable and organized. The place is beautiful. The apartments are nice for independent living, and you can rent a garage. Everything can be unloaded inside the garage. That makes a lot of difference in South Dakota. They have a place where you can work out with exercise equipment. They have game rooms and movie rooms. Plus, they have a dining room. And if you want to have a family dinner away from everybody else, they have a room for that, which is nice."
