Copper Creek Cottages is a little bit closer to what we're looking for, but we need something more dedicated to a higher level of memory care. My father is coming from a skilled nursing place. Everything was really clean and fine. Dad's got a couple of issues with aggressive tendencies and stuff like that. He's fairly advanced as far as dementia is concerned, and this facility was just a little bit less for the skilled care part of things than we had needed. The rooms were fine; they're pretty much what I expected. Everybody was nice, polite, helpful, and friendly. They had a courtyard area outside.

Copper Creek Cottages of Lincoln, Illinois is scheduled to open summer 2016 and is Lincoln’s premier provider of memory care. The community is conveniently located across from Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Our community features 30 apartments, in 2 intimate settings of 15, to provide better care and attention to each of our residents. We offer 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for single or double occupancy, both with private bathrooms.

Copper Creek Cottages Memory Care provides specialized memory care in a safe and nurturing environment. We recognize every individual’s physical, mental and social needs and provide a secure environment that fosters independence for as long as possible.
Our home includes walking paths and visual cues, such as varied cottage home-fronts for comfort and memory recognition. Our amenities and services are based on a personal level and encourage residents to explore, touch and choose their activities.
