I visited a friend at the senior apartments of Greencastle of Morgan Park & Beverly. I also submitted an application there, and I'm really going to wait on that one because I really liked what I saw. The outside grounds were nice, beautiful, and clean. The building is immaculate. I love the building on the inside because it has a garden there, and it's secure and quiet. You can sit outside if you want. It's really also not too far, and my daughter is still within the city, so it's a nice community to live in. They say it's the home of the fire department, the police, and all that because they all live over in that area. They have games and get-togethers. It has transportation and all that stuff, too. When I was there, everyone greeted me, so it was nice. If you want to get into that community, it is basically run by the Catholic Charities, and they do it according to your income. So for me, that's a plus. I think my friend is happy there because all her family comes to visit her, and she has transportation, so she's pleased with it. Ever since they upgraded that building, she's got nothing but good things to say about it. They really overhauled the whole building.
