My mother suffers from dementia and was diagnosed by a psychiatrist as not even having decision making skills. This facility doesnt take any of this into consideration when dealing with me or my mother. Visitation has to be scheduled 24 hours in advance for a 30 minute visit. I honestly cant say what her room looks like since they dont allow it. According to her she doesnt get fed. After a little more than 24 hours there she fell. When i visited her vision was terrible, she had large bruises on her upper arm and finger bruises on the other. She was definitely drugged because she couldnt carry on a conversation which before coming hear she could talk up a storm. Do not send a loved one here

I realize this is an old facility, it’s not kept clean like it was in the past. There are roaches in the rooms with the residents, and dirty dishes in the kitchen. If something is spilled on the floor, you wipe it up, the paper towel is filthy. I wouldn’t let me dog live there. The staff seldom checks on the residents, they are either hanging out in the break room, or focused on what’s happening on Facebook.

The Greene Point community is great. Everybody seems to be friendly and very good. The dining area and the food are sufficient. They have a rehab center, entertainment room, activity center, and a salon.

The people at Greene Point Health & Rehabilitation were very professional and nice. It was very nice and clean. The halls were spacious. I saw a board with activities.
