"I liked the location of Tennille Assisted Living because it's closer to me visiting my parents. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Sandy, the one who runs the place, was very helpful. Mom and Dad went and had a meal with a friend of ours that's already there. She didn't complain about it, so I guess it was OK. I see lots of stuff going on, on Facebook. I keep up with them on Facebook. The facility was very nice. They're very informative. It's not run down, but it seemed to be close together. It needs to be updated a little bit, nothing major."

"Oconee Heath is crowded, relatively small, and outdated. It doesn't really have a comfortable lounge, a TV, or living room space. I found that all of the employees cluttered around the front door. The rooms were small with three people to a room. I didn’t like anything about it, even though my brother is there. I am thinking about moving him. The tables were not comfortable. "

"My brother moved to Heritage House in Dublin. It's just a good place for him to be. It's a good environment, he is safe there and they look after him, and they take him to the doctor if he needs to go. He is also close to a hospital. I go down there and see my brother at least about twice a month, and the staff are good people. The facility is great. It's beautiful, and is kept up very well. My brother gets three meals a day and a snack in the afternoon. I also get him some snacks and other stuff when I go down to the grocery store. He's taken care of, I have no doubt about that. It's worth what it is being paid for."

"My husband is in Southland Healthcare and Rehab. The nurses take good care of him, and he's happy. They keep the residents from running away, and everybody there seems to be reasonably happy. Some of them sit outside on the porch and talk to the people who come through the door. His room is adequate with a bathroom and sink, cabinets and so on. I wasn't able to get him some things so they were given to him until I was able to replace them. The staff keeps his catheter clean all the time. I wasn't able to get him pants when we had relatives coming over to visit, so the nurse went and got him a pair from the laundry. I would recommend them."

"We have no complaints with Twelve Oaks. It's very clean. The food is kind of bland, but that is to be expected in an assisted living. The staff is friendly and very accessible. They do have activities, but Philip doesn't participate in any. Twelve Oaks is highly recommended. "

" I was a patient in the rehab section of Shamrock Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center for two months in early 2018. I was very impressed with the professionalism and compassion of all staff members with whom I came in contact -- nursing, housekeeping, dietary, rehabilitation, and front office. The facility was extremely clean, with absolutely no odor often associated with nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. The meals were excellent; definitely a cut above standard institutional food. A full-time activities director coordinates a wide range of activities to help residents and patients have something to look forwd to and pass the time. I would not hesitate to recommend Shamrock to anyone interested in a nursing home or in an inpatient rehabilitation center."

"I had a relative at this facility that I visited weekly at different times they have a 24 hour visitation and you can visit at anytime. My relative was happy and it showed when I visited . She enjoyed the food and the church services. The staff did her clothes. hair and accompanied her on appointment. We were encouraged to bring her things from home to make her room homelike. All the resident are gotten out of bed and their room daily. My relative enjoyed sitting on the front porch I never went there and found her dirty or unkept I would use them again."

"My mom moved into Summer Willow at james Place. It was in the top two in regard to facility, and it was the best value for the money. I’m very satisfied they provide assistance with medication, bathing and hygiene, and transportation to her medical appointments. Everything so far is top notch."

"Administration very professional, easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating to the needs of a family member. Medical staff is also very professional and taking excellent care of a family member. All staff have always been available to speak in person and or on phone.. Staff goes above and beyond with care of a family member and also keeping me updated. Rooms are kept very clean with lots of space to make family member feel comfortable. "This home was sold in 2012. The new owners are wonderful. 2 of them are Registered Nurses. The staff is the best. Highly trained. The home is licensed for 24 and has sufficient staff to cover the amount residing there as required by the state of Georgia. This is an awesome place for mom or dad to stay. They provide assistance with meds, bath, laundry, meals and much more. They gave me information on how to apply for financial assistance. It really helped. They have a few residents who still drive. We used my parents own furniture and belongs which made everything go so much smoother. "

"My mom went to Meadows Park Health & Rehabilitation in Vidalia supposedly for a 20-day rehabilitation, but her condition ended up getting worse and we were transported out from there last week to a community hospice. It's a nice facility, fairly new, with good staff and great rehabilitation. They had activities too but Covid stuff started and it caused a few restrictions. They do have bingo nights and all kinds of activities. My mom had issues with swallowing, they ended up having to puree her food so she didn't get a normal diet. With the little bit that I saw though, I think the food was okay. I think it's a wonderful place."
