Magnolia Gardens of Warrenton is horrible. My brother has been there. When he was at the other nursing home, I had purchased him several shirts. I also bought him jeans, socks, and shoes. He also wore a cowboy hat, and they called him cowboy. He had a veteran's hat, too. However, when he moved to Magnolia Gardens Of Warrenton, he had nothing. I was here in May, and from January to May, the man did not even have a pair of shoes. He did not have one stitch of clothes that belonged to him. When I looked in his closet, there was absolutely nothing but thin air. They said, 'It's laundry day,' well, I knew he had enough clothes and you don't do laundry day and do all of his clothes. When the clothes came back, I said, 'These are not his clothes?' 'That's what he has now.' I said, 'What do you mean that's what he has now?' Nobody could figure out what happened to all of his clothes. I had his name on his clothes, and he had blankets and a comforter, but none of that stuff went with him. My brother has $1500 in his account, and I asked them to buy him some clothes, and they told me, No, he didn't need them, and that he was getting his clothes from the church. He is to the point now where he does not realize where he is or what he is wearing. He has absolutely nothing that belongs to him anymore. They're not giving me any information. They won't even let me talk to my brother because he doesn't have a phone. There is absolutely nothing I like about that place, and I can't say anything good about them. Their staff is terrible with the exception of one nurse that has been there for 26 years. She was sweet. My brother has a twin-size bed with a sheet on it. He has a shared room. However, there was no one else in the room with him at that particular time when I was there. They put all the memory residents in a room that's smaller than his bedroom, and they have a TV on, and they're all just in there. They don't do anything to interact with them. They have one lady sitting at the door, and that's it.
