My father is a resident of The Terrace At Ivey Acres, which is bigger than the other community where my mother is in. They have activities where they play different games like bingo, and the staff is excellent. Their food is good, but you can't order what kind of breakfast you want and you just get whatever they feed you. Some of their amenities available are a library and a beauty shop, and their facilities are top notch. His room is smaller than my mother's, the bathrooms need some changes, and there's not enough room for storage in the bathrooms. That's probably their weakest point. The doors are locked and no one goes in or out if you don't have a code. They don't call it a memory care facility; they call it assisted living.
