"I found Timber Hills. What I like best is that I know several people that live there. It also has an underground garage that's heated so I don't have to worry about my car. And it lets you kind of age in place. If you need assisted living or memory care, it's there. The rooms are very nice and large. They have two bathrooms, and they have laundry in the room. It has this basic setup of kitchen, balcony, living room, and two bedrooms. The staff who assisted me was very nice, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. They have a lot of activities. They have a fitness center where they give classes. They do tours once a week. They have a wood workshop that you can use. They give concerts. I'm actually on their waiting list there."

"My mom didn't care for The Waters of White Bear Lake. They did not have any transportation for the people. You had to coordinate that on your own. That was a huge, huge thing for my mom, especially in the winter. I thought it was nice, but my mom felt like everyone was looking down at her. The people there have a little more in their pocketbook than my mother, so I think she let that intimidate her. It was very classy. They have a chandelier. The lady that showed us around was very nice. We went to their restaurant, and the food was really good. However, the people weren't as friendly, so that turned my mom off. The room looked nice. They probably had it staged like a nice model home, and I liked it. I'm 60 years old, and I wouldn't mind living there if I had no one else and if I was all alone. It had high-end cabinets."

"I had a total back fusion with paralyzation. I was cared for at Weaverly. I can't say enough about this center the therapists there are top notch! The rooms, dining, physical therapy rooms are absolutely beautiful! I grew so close to my occupational therapist, she felt like a sister. If I run into the situation where a I need after care I pray to go back here. I love this place Darlene Schueller"
