"The staff was very respectful to the residents and seemed genuinely happy to be working in the establishment. The residents appeared to be having a good time. People seemed to be kept busy with activities such as BINGO and knitting groups. In the common areas, there were puzzles and games left out for the residents to use. The place was very clean and sanitary. The staff gave us a quick tour of the rooms and dining area. Nothing stood out as negative, but the home was too far away. We wanted to be a little closer to my grandmother in case of an emergency. She seemed to like the home, the staff was very friendly towards her, and there were plenty of opportunities for her to get involved in the community. If the place had been a little closer to home, we would have definitely chosen the home! "

"I didn't like The Waters of White Bear Lake a whole lot. The place seemed very clean and the staff that took me around was very nice, but it just didn't feel quite as friendly and I didn't like the price, either. The apartments were very nice and quite large, but the kitchen area was small. The dining area looked nice."

They know them by name and recognize me as a granddaughter, and are able to remain very professional while giving very personalized care to my grandparents. My grandmother has memory loss and can be a bit difficult to deal with at times, but the staff has never-ending patience with her.
