"My grandmother has experienced both independent and dependent living. It is definitely a transition going from living on your own in your home to living in an assisted living space then to dependent but the staff and family support really helps! There is a lot to do and the apartments are really beautiful. While there are differences in the units that are dependent vs the ones that are independent, I was surprised to see how similar they are and how much space there is. Outside of no longer having a stove or dishwasher, the units are very similar to a standard apartment. There is a communal activity room that has a larger kitchen where residents can do cooking classes, as well as really good food available in the dining room or delivered to your room. Staff also will help with cleaning any dishes you may have made during the day. While no one wants to lose their independence, dependent living at Lambeth feels like a good combination of having your independence with extra hands! "
