"Very wonderful place to rehab. My wife and I read poor reviews and having such fear our elderly father won’t receive the care we desire for him we were very jaded my dad wouldn’t get the care he needed. We were wrong, this facility more the other patients and employees were all so respectful and supportive. We felt so much love and compassion, we came to support our dad and ended up with other patients as friends and staff members we idolize at how great they do their jobs and include us in dads recovery. I am very awestruck at everyone at Good Samaritan Society - Spokane Valley. Many many stars to all of them. Thank You so much."

"My sister-in-law is at Rockwood South Hill and I go up there a lot. It's expensive to get into. You have to outlay a tremendous amount of money to be able to get in. I have a lot of friends that live there and they have private homes there. It's a beautiful community, but you have to buy in and there's a long waitlist. It's a five-star place if you can afford it. It's a luxury full service but it's for life because once you're in, you go all the way through until death. You're there forever. You never move out. The staff is very friendly. They go over and above. What I like best are the restaurants. They have different levels. They have great big 3000 square foot apartments and small ones. The atmosphere is outstanding. The layout is sprawling."

"We placed my dad at the assisted living of Riverview, and our experience has been good so far. The majority of their staff so far has been extremely helpful. His apartment there is beautiful. They just remodeled it so it's like brand new. They provide amenities for the residents like meals, laundry and housekeeping, and the food is very good. I would rate their staff a four because we have run into nurses and things that were not the best, but you'd run into that anywhere. Their facilities are beautiful. So far, he has really enjoyed the activities, and he can do just about anything that he wants to. The price is a little bit too expensive. They do really well, but they get paid really well to do well."

"Rockwood at Whitworth is fine. My dad's room and the staff are terrific. He doesn't participate in activities because he can't hear. He wanders the halls sometimes to talk to people, that's about it. They got a fairly big facility, so he walks up and down the halls. He doesn't go outside much really. The facility is terrific. They have cable, a community TV room, and some stuff that he doesn't do much. They're also limited now because of all the protocols that they have to follow via the governor so they're not going outside much anymore as a group. They can go to doctor's appointments but with just going out to shop or whatever, they don't do that right now. I get weekly updates from them. I also talk to him every day so I get updates from him too. It's expensive but it's good."

"My aunt is a resident of Fairwood Retirement Village and Assisted Living for 10 years now. They have independent, assisted, and nursing care. It's lovely. We went to a family party with over 100 people there, and the food was good. They have a pool. They have clubs and activities. They have a library and a bus. My aunt's apartment is spacious. It has all the safety features and a full kitchen. The staff members were very nice. They helped host her party for her birthday."
