This is a very small facility. The dining is a great community setting. The staff seem very interested in the residents, know them all, and work diligently to keep them happy and healthy. The owners made our visit very pleasant. They took time to give us a tour of the facility and joke with us. In the great room, there is a large television, a piano, billards table, puzzle, plenty of books and videos for residents to use. There are daily opportunities for residents, ranging from religious services to a beauty salon, exercise to group games. The nursing staff is available around the clock, residents just need to "holler" for them to come. When residents need medical care from the hospital, the staff are glad to transport them. Drawbacks to this facility include a heavy religious emphasis and over-decoration of the facility. The owner keeps birds on site, which would only bother someone, if, like me, that person is terrified of birds. This is a very clean facility that works with dedication to meet the needs of its residents.
