I choose Heritage Park because it is convenient and secured. I like the facility. The staff is fine. There are activities like movie night and casino nights. It will be better if there are more activities.

I went to tour Heritage Park Alta Loma 55+ Adult. I was shown a ground floor unit and there was a tiny kitchen. The stove was very, very small. It was like the 1950's show, I Love Lucy. The lady who showed me said that those stoves cost more than the normal-sized stove because the size of the kitchen was so small, that's why they needed to accommodate the small stove. Most of the rooms were occupied, so she only showed me the one that was available on the ground floor. It was a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment. But the total square footage was 600 square feet. They had a swimming pool, not too big, not too small. They had a big area where people gathered together. When I was there, one resident was playing the guitar and singing a song. About 10 senior people were seated there, watching him sing and play the guitar. The staff was very nice. There were a lot of units. It had an open-air parking lot, and it was convenient because it was across the street from a restaurant and a Chinese market, like the 99 Ranch Market.

Heritage Park was nice, and the apartments were very small, but it is a nice area. They have a nice room and a nice clubhouse. It’s clean, near a lot of shopping, and it’s a good area for them because they can walk to the local stores.

This is the worst place I have ever lived. It is not a senior complex. Many children live here. And if you can't handle cigarette smoke don't move here. They allow a smoke area by the pool and mail boxes. Right where you would have your family time. People also smoke outside your apt. Believe the people in the office do nothing. Residents cuss other residents out. Scream and yell, play music and TV all hours of the night. It's a nightmare living here and do not recommend this place. They do not have activities here so if they tell you they do it's a lie. They won't even buy creamer for coffee in the clubhouse.
