LITTLE TOKYO TOWERS

Little Tokyo Towers was made possible by years of dedicated work of community leaders who recognized the need for subsidized housing for our senior citizens. Non-profit sponsorship by Japanese-American organizations made financing possible under a program of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. An extensive remodeling program has resulted in a design lending to the goal of making the Towers a place of comfort to reside and enjoy. Nutrition food service is available at the Towers in our in-house Restaurant, overlooking our beautiful garden. It has been featured in the Rafu Shimpo and the restaurant section of the LA times. To further your sense of comfort and well-being, Towers security and professional security services are employed. Access into the Tower is only possible by use of an electronic device or by telephone command initiated by a resident. Clearly, security is a precept at Little Tokyo Towers. Also, increased police and citizen's patrol and the adding of a police substation in Little Tokyo �Toban � have improved security in the area. A wide range of activities are available in and nearby the Towers. Shopping, food service, healthcare, churches and temples, major hotels, Little Tokyo service centre etc. are literally �around the corner �. Just a stroll away is the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center and Theatre, the new Japanese American National museum, and the East-West Players Theater, all with year-long events and productions. The annual Nisei Week festival Tofu Festival and Church carnivals occur without fail.
