My father lived here for just under one month. A cat is living on the premises and that's about the only really positive thing I can say about this home. One member of the staff frequently yelled at my father and I know this from him and another resident. She was also FAR FROM patient at feeding time. The room was comfortable enough with a window but the hallways are so narrow as to not permit a wheelchair to easily navigate the house. The food was edible. There were no activities but none were expected. Kindness and patience however are always expected in a home for the elderly. The pricing was similar to other homes of this kind.

My father was at Apple Country Care Home for two months, and it was terrible. They never gave me any of the things that they told me I was going to get, and some of the care providers shouldn't be working there. There was a gentleman there who was very mean to the residents, and my dad talked about him yelling all the time. The layout was nice, but the hallways and bedroom doors were too small and they banged his arms up against the wall then the doors, and he got sores all over. It didn't work for a wheelchair access, and there were no activities at all. The food was always a casserole, but it was tasty and good. He got a private room, but it was expensive for what you get. It was a 6-bed board and care home.
