I visited this facility

I pretty much liked everything about Foothill Village Senior Living Community. The cleanliness was great. It just wasn't a fit for us. It can only fit certain people. They have a two-bedroom. They have a small kitchenette, though. There's no cooking, just a microwave and a refrigerator. The dining room seemed acceptable and adequate. If you were an active person, you would have things to do there.

Rooms are nice, food is tasty and staff is caring.. I do wish that all staff would wear name badges so that one can commend those for great service or address concerns. Also it would be nice if the guest parking and future residents parking was left open for just that. Sometimes staff takes those spots when most staff parks away from the main building….special activities are limited, especially in the memory units.. where my Mom resided.

I visited this facility

I toured Foothill Village Senior Living Community. Jacob was very welcoming. He asked me what I wanted to drink before I even got there for the tour, which I thought was very nice. My mom has to go into memory care because she has dementia. I liked that facility because the memory care portion of the facility was very bright. They had a resident who was an artist. They put her work up on the walls. The apartments were great. You had your choice of three different ones. There was a shared shower, but the bathrooms were not shared, which I liked. The rooms are bright, and look like they have just been freshly painted or remodeled. The dining area was open with a big window. He told me they were in the process of taking the carpet out because it was stained. They were replacing that with a hardwood floor instead of carpet. It's a smaller facility, and I just liked that better. He showed me a patio area where the residents could go. It's beautiful. The landscape is natural and it's in the foothills. So, it was nice.

We toured Foothill Village Senior Living Community. It's a nice facility but my sister has a dog and a cat, and they don't allow animals. Other than that, it was a beautiful place and they were very helpful. The staff that accommodated us was very knowledgeable, they were just excellent. They also have a variety of different rooms available. The facility was very clean and the people looked well-taken care of. They also have a courtyard, my sister smokes and they have a smoking area.

Foothill Village Senior Living Community was very nice. They just remodeled, even I'd move there. They have a lot of great activities for the seniors. We looked at everything from independent care to memory care. The facility is beautiful.

My mother is in Foothill Village Senior Living Community. They're doing a bit of remodeling. So, there are places that are going to be fixed up better. They've just hired a tremendous amount of staff, which is great because they were lacking for a little bit. The employees are all very, very nice, and very accommodating to the needs of everyone I have seen in the gathering room. They don't offer much in the way of entertainment, although they did hire a new person to work on that, and she is very, very nice. The food is really excellent, I'm really pleased. The room is very clean. They've done really well with my stubborn mom as far as showers and baths and whatnot goes. The biggest drawback is the price. It's very, very expensive. She's in Generations memory care. They're very good about giving medications to my mom and others that I've seen. It's a locked down portion of the building. The residents don't go to other floors, although I'm going to see if I can arrange for Mom to go to church on Sunday. She was very unhappy when she got there, and it just took a while for her to get to know the residents and the caregivers. And she's feisty, and she likes that they're feisty. There are some places in the unit where my mom is where they were doing some remodeling, but it's all clean. There's nothing out of place, or dirty, or there is no smell of urine or feces. It's really pretty good. I've played bingo with my mom several times. They do coloring, but activities are something that is lacking there.

I visited Foothill Village Senior Living Community. It's way out of my league. They wanted $3300 a month. I'm on a fixed income. There's no way I can come up with that. It was just a really nice place. It's a fantastic place, but you got to be able to afford it. It's more luxury than I've ever seen in my whole life. They really take care of the elderly there. If they want it, they got it. Everything is really nice and quiet. They do everything for them, but you got to pay for it though. I'm talking about my experiences with the Independent Living. It's a big place. The scenery around the place is just unbelievable. It is just beautiful. Everything is perfect. They've got a good staff there. I had a really good tour right there; I have seen everything they do. They have everything: exercise rooms, TV room, dining rooms, you name it. Inside each apartment, they have a refrigerator. They have everything and their call button. It's an amazing place. I have seen the people there in the dining room, and it was really nice.

Foothill Village Senior Living Community was very nice and clean. The staff seemed very caring and their facilities were excellent. If we could have afforded it, it would have been perfect. The care director was very knowledgeable. She's definitely up-to-date on dementia diagnosis, and how to care for people. The place was small (which it should be) and looked very safe. They had places where the memory care residents could go and sit outside and move around, and it was all securely fenced.

Our tour experience at Foothill Village Senior Living Community was excellent. It was a very clean facility. The staff was very polite and nice. The room itself that I viewed was very spacious and very clean, and it would be everything that you would need. From what I've seen, it's a beautiful facility. They have amenities like a TV area which is kind of like a movie theater area. It's not necessarily a theater, but they have a place for the seniors to sit down and watch a movie together. They have a nice eating area, it's very open and clean. They have a laundry facility and they would do it once a week, then they have that laundry facility available to the residents free of charge, that they can use during the week if they want to. So they have all the facilities. They also have a shuttle that takes them to go shopping and they have games.

We toured Foothill Village for my stepmother. It's a very, very nice place. We were very surprised at what it looked like in there. They have four different levels of living and each one has its own separate dining hall area as well as in-room dining. They have a recreational area and a crafts area, and plenty of things for the folks to do as well. They have plenty of areas for the people to mingle together. Because of COVID, we weren't allowed to go into some of the areas. They have several different levels of care there, but memory care is the one we are looking at. We talked with three different people and all of them were extremely well-informed and extremely nice. We could see what they were eating, and they looked delicious. They were having hamburgers when we were there, and they were monster hamburgers. The place was extremely clean, and everything seemed to be well-maintained. The restroom facilities all seemed clean, the ones that were used publicly. Each individual housing unit has its own facilities, and everything seemed to be fantastic. It just seemed to be a wonderful facility with great stuff there. We would love to get her in there.

The people at Foothill Village were very hospitable and very helpful and we certainly got the information we were looking for. We didn't stay for lunch, but they gave us a piece of chocolate cake that was very good. We met the chef, too. The dining area was very nice and very homey looking. The staff was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. The facility was very nice, very clean, and smelled very nice.

Foothill Village was very good if you were to be in the assisted living, but the memory care did not impress us as much. It was clean and nice, it has nice staff, and the rooms were big. I thought the dining area was a little small, and I couldn't really see mother living there. It would be my first choice for senior living. The rooms were fairly new looking; you could have your own room, bathroom, a common living area, and on the other side, you could have somebody else with their own room and bathroom. They could be together or separate, and that was pretty neat. They had a nice, clean, studio, but I didn't really care for the transitions section; it was all down-sized, and not as nice as the others. I was very impressed with the staff.

Foothill Village Senior Living was a really nice place that I would like to go a few years from now. I think everything was right about it. The rooms were adequate, attractive, and comfortable. The people were nice, and the food looked good. The whole place was spacious and attractive.

Foothill Village is very nice. They have little apartments and assisted living. There are different levels in their prices. The staff is very friendly and very dedicated to the residents. The rooms are very nice, but not really well-sized. If I move there, I would have to probably downsize my queen-size to a single, which I would be disappointed in having to do. They have their own bridge games going, and I think Foothill Village takes them out shopping and on little trips or outings.

We placed mom at Foothill Village. It’s a very beautiful facility and everything was clean. The people were very friendly and I was very impressed. The staff knew the people that were living there. They were very friendly and outgoing. I like the environment or feel of the place. My mom appreciates the food and she thinks it’s good. I liked that they have water, coffee and tea station and that they can get it anytime.
