"I visited often and found the facilities to be consistent. Staff was friendly, turnover seemed high. Amenities were clean, grounds well maintained, residents were able to dine in dining room or in their individual apartments, residents were able to keep their vehicles and come & go as they pleased. Only about 12 apartments & seemed as though they could provide as much or as little assistance as residents wanted. "

"I'm in Afton Care Center. The appearance is good, and the staff is good. I'm happy. The dining area is good. Everything is fine. They do activities like they go to movies, they have exercise clubs, and they have a TV room and things like that. My room is nice. The facility is nice and clean as well. The food is good."

"My dad has been in Windsor Manor since June 1st. They are very friendly and accommodating, and they made us feel very welcome right away. It was a smaller facility. He’s got a medium sized, one-bedroom; it’s very clean, it smells nice, and it has fresh carpeting and fresh paint. They have nice wood work, a small oven, and a small refrigerator. The room has a big window in the bedroom and living area. There’s a nice sink and counter top. We have enough room for his belongings, and he feels like he’s a little bit at home. There’s lots of storage. They played Bingo, and there’s a crafts room. In summer they have a barbeque every other week. They have people from the community that come in and play some music. They assign seats to people in the dining area based on how they get along with other residents. "

"My relative is a resident of The Village. It's very clean. He's very well kept, and he has very good care. He's always clean and looks clean. They get him up and around, and he likes the food a lot. I really do like it a lot. We were just thinking maybe if we could find something cheaper, but considering they have the nursing home right there also, we just kind of decided that might be best. I have tried the food and it is good. He doesn't participate in activities because that's just him, but they do have them. I can't say a lot, but I know they've asked him. He likes to go out, watch TV, sit and visit, and stuff."

"Vintage Hills is a very nice place. They were very accommodating. It was very clean and modern. They had a very good food. My father was there for 8 months. We had to move him out of the facility because he exceeded their level of care. He had had some illnesses and some surgeries and they just no longer able to provide the care that he needed. Again, it's an assisted living facility and they just couldn't provide all the care. He was needing more nursing care than what they can provide. The staff is very good, very nice, and very knowledgeable. Of all the hospitals and places he has been, it's had the best food. His room was very clean, very spacious and had a very adequate space for his needs. They had activities that they offer daily and they put out a monthly calendar that showed the activities for every day so that the residents can plan in advanced what days they wanted to attend and what activities. The facility was very nice and very modern. It doesn't look like a senior living."
